Greek clothing
Men wore tunics made from square pieces of cloth held on by pins and tied with a belt. It was made with wool for the winter and linen for the summer.
Women wore clothing made from a large square piece of wool or linen. They were held by pins in different places. Unlike men's clothes the dresses went to the women's ankles.
Wealthy people wore tunics made of colored fabric while poor wore tunics that are plain. Clothes were made by women or female slaves.
Many greeks went barefoot but when they had to wear shoes the would wear leather sandals or boots.
